Welcome to my site,
I’m a camera operator, photographer, video journalist, and picture editor based in South East England.
My television career began in 2007 as an in-house technician for Onsight LTD’s camera facility Axis Films. I quickly progressed, working as a camera trainee for the BBC and subsequently as a camera assistant and digital imaging technician on documentaries filmed in Qatar, rural China, and South America. I’m particularly proud of my location work on projects like David Attenborough’s ‘Kingdom Of Plants’, ‘Galapagos 3D’, and National Geographic’s ‘Pandas: The Journey Home’.
My early camera work featured in several documentaries, including actuality, sequences, and interviews for ITV’s ‘The Bigger Trip’, C4’s ‘Over the Edge’, and BBC2’s ‘Mr v Mrs: Call The Mediator’.
In 2019, I shot, edited, and directed ‘TaRL: Teaching at Right Level’, a journalistic short for the education-focused charity Street Child, filmed in rural Sierra Leone.
In early 2022, I joined ITV News as a camera operator and production specialist. In 2023, I contributed to the company-wide rollout of Avid Media Central, training staff and supporting its implementation. This work led to an ITV News Award nomination for Production Specialist of the Year.
Beyond my television work, I’m passionate about stills photography, and my work has been published in high-profile publications like The Sunday Times, The Mail, and the Evening Standard. I also qualified as a commercial drone pilot (PFCO) and hold a PPA-accredited master’s degree in journalism (distinction).
